ABOUT THE GAME-

Resident Evil 6^[a] is a third-person shooter game developed and published by Capcom. The eighth major installment in the Resident Evil series, Resident Evil 6 was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in October 2012, and for Microsoft Windows in March 2013. Players control Chris Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, Jake Muller, and Ada Wong as they confront the force behind a worldwide bio-terrorist attack. The story is centred around their four interwoven campaigns, and every campaign features a unique style in both tone and gameplay.

The game was conceptualized in 2009 and entered full development the following year under Resident Evil 4 producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi. It had a development staff of more than 600, making it Capcom's largest production. Resident Evil 6 received mixed reviews, being praised for the storyline and themes, but criticised for the interwoven campaigns and departure from the survival horror roots of the franchise. Despite these criticisms, the game sold over 9 million copies. It was re-released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with all downloadable content in March 2016.

ABOUT THE GAME-

Grand Theft Auto IV is a 2008 action-adventure game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. It is the eleventh title in the Grand Theft Auto series, and the first main entry since 2004's Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Set within the fictional Liberty City (based on New York City), the single-player story follows a war veteran, Niko Bellic, and his attempts to escape his past while under pressure from loan sharks and mob bosses. The open world design lets players freely roam Liberty City, consisting of three main islands.

The game is played from a third-person perspective and its world is navigated on-foot or by vehicle. Throughout the single-player mode, players play as Niko Bellic. As part of their research for the open world, the developers conducted field research around New York throughout development and captured footage for the design team.

Following its announcement in May 2006, Grand Theft Auto IV was widely anticipated.^[2] It was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in April 2008, and for Microsoft Windows in December 2008. Upon release, the game received universal critical acclaim, with praise particularly directed at the narrative and open world design. Grand Theft Auto IV broke industry sales records and became the fastest-selling entertainment product in history at the time, earning US$310 million in its first day and $500 million in its first week. Considered one of the most significant titles of the seventh generation of video games, and by many critics as one of the greatest video games of all time, it won year-end accolades, including Game of the Year awards from several gaming publications. ABOUT THE GAME-

Sleeping Dogs is an action-adventure video game developed by United Front Games and published by Square Enix. It was originally released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows. Set in contemporary Hong Kong, the story follows Wei Shen, an undercover Chinese-American police officer on assignment to infiltrate the Sun On Yee Triad organization. Gameplay focuses on Shen's fighting, shooting and parkour abilities, and on gadgets that can be used for combat and exploration. Players must complete missions to unlock content and continue the story, but they may instead freely roam the game's open world environment and engage in both legal and criminal activities. The latter may incite a police response, the intensity of which is controlled by a "heat" system. Actions such as fighting, driving and racing grant Shen statistical rewards and earn the player achievements.

Sleeping Dogs' difficult and prolonged development began in 2008. The game was announced in 2009 as part of the True Crime series but was canceled by Activision Blizzard in 2011, as a result of the project's delays and budget issues. Six months later, Square Enix bought the publishing rights and renamed the game Sleeping Dogs, without the True Crime license, but considered a spiritual successor. During development, United Front staff visited Hong Kong to conduct field research for the visual environments and sound.

Upon its release in 2012, the game received positive reviews for its combat, voice acting, experience system and depiction of the city; but its camera, and animations were criticized. Within one year, the game had sold over 1.5 million copies. New outfits, missions and add-ons, as well as three expansion packs, were released as downloadable content in the six months following the game's debut. A remastered version, subtitled Definitive Edition, was released in October 2014 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows. It features improved gameplay, setting and audio-visual quality based on community feedback.^[1] The macOS version of Definitive Edition was released on 31 March 2016 by Feral Interactive.^[2] The game's success spawned a spin-off multiplayer game entitled Triad Wars, which was canceled in 2015. In 2017, a live action film adaptation was also announced, with Donnie Yen set to star as Shen.

The Amazing Spider-Man is an open world action-adventure video game,^[7][8] based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, and the 2012 film of the same name. It was developed by Beenox and published by Activision. The game was directed by Gerard Lehiany and written by Seamus Kevin Fahey,^[1] Benjamin Schirtz and Gérard Lehiany. It serves as an alternate epilogue to The Amazing Spider-Man film, which is later seen in the game's sequel, revealed to be an alternate version of the movies' universe.^[11] Set several months after the events of the film, the game sees Spider-Man temporarily releasing Curt Connors from prison to help find a cure for the people infected by the unstable and dangerous cross-species created by Oscorp using Connors' research, while also facing Alistair Smythe, the new CEO of Oscorp, who desires to save the city himself and will stop from nothing to achieve his goal, but ends up only causing more problems for the city.

The Nintendo 3DS and Wii versions also include the script and plot of the other versions of the game, but feature a much different, and more linear gameplay that doesn't have an open world environment, and instead features the player selecting a level from a hub, in this case, Stan's apartment, before playing a mostly linear level. It was natively designed for the 3DS and later ported to the Wii.
